Dead Again in Action
Bio
Mike Schmidt was a member of the original 10 and has been a member of the OIL ever since. A solid but not spectacular player, Schmidt usually finishes just above the middle of the pack. Schmidt is part of the longest-running rivalry in the OIL (along with Pyle). A solid drafter and roster manager, he is a threat to break through and win the title each season, but he usually settles for beating Pyle in week 13 to cap off another remarkably average, playoff-free Dead Again season. In 2014 his franchise underwent a re-brand and unveiled a new logo along with new uniforms. His team name is derived from his profession: funeral director.
Schmidt is originally from the Salt Lake City area but ended up in Oklahoma thanks to his time in the Army. After over a decade in the Sooner State, Schmidt moved to Boise, Idaho.
